History of territory of the boutique hotel Kavalier originates in distant Xth century AD, when the land first settled ancestral indigenous Ukrainian settlements. These lands have seen and Kazakh khan Buruduy and Prince Danylo Halickiy, and the troops of Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky aheaded with Maxim Krivonos, and Karl XII and his retinue, and austrian Emperor Franz Josef I wich lefted a significant mark in the history of modern Lviv. The building of boutique hotel Kavalier itselfs is a newly-built mansion landowners French origin Longshman de Bare, who bought it in 17th century from rich Lviv family Alembek and lived here until 1941 year. The estate was famous for luxury, hospitality and upscale, wich always attracted rich and famous guests from all world, among them more than once visited and Austrian Emperor Franz Josef I, in whose honor was named a protected park area surrounding boutique hotel Kavalier.
