Comments (English): Although called Black Sea Backpackers online, this hostel is actually called Odessa Hostel. Black Sea Backpackers is the general name for the Odessa and Duke Hostels, both on different floors of the same building. The Odessa Hostel gets top marks for the rooms based purely on the excellent air conditioning and general cleanliness. The rooms also have (sometimes temperamental) safes for each bed which help when storing valuables. However, the free breakfast constitutes of a stale bun and concentrated juice and the free internet is one machine which is constantly in use. Otherwise, the staff are friendly and helpful and speak a good level of english.
